It has been WAY TO LONG since I have blogged on here! I apologize for that! My hope is that everyone had a very nice Christmas and a Happy New Year! It feels good to be back into the swing of things.
We welcomed a new student today by the name of Jason. Jason comes to us from Jefferson. The kids were very nice to him today and showed him the 'ropes.'
We paper mach ed our volcanoes today. We'll let them dry for a couple of days. After that we'll paint and erupt! I've posted some pictures in the section of Social Studies (even though it is Science) and on the home page.
Yesterday we started a 300 book challenge for the classroom! The kids (and myself) are extremely motivated! We think we can hit 300 as a class by the Spring Break in March!
We'll be starting the landforms of the regions next week, along with fossils. We're wrapping up some fact families and division right now, and will be moving onto long division next week as well!
Please don't hesitate to call or e-mail with questions or concerns!
